PUNTARENAS DESCRIPTION
Puntarenas is the main turistic beach in the Pacific Ocean. It is located approximately 120 km (80 miles) from San José, our country capital. The population of this province is 85.429 inhabitants. Its average temperature during the year is 28°C. There is an excelent highway between Puntarenas and San José. Where a beautiful and exuberant view can be enjoyed. When getting to Puntarenas after running over a short narrowne's we find the attractive Gulf of Nicoya which is the main Center of every fishing and turistic activity of the region. Puntarenas is beauty, such, beach, and fun. Along the boulevard there's a wide variety of restaurants and the famous dikes.
